Fiscal responsibility includes planning, coordinating, analyzing, and forecasting financial scenarios for the District colleges and leading the college CFFOs and business managers in the organization of fiscal functions including budgeting, purchasing, accounting, financial reporting, asset and grant management as well as auxiliary operations.
Responsible to research and implement best practices for financial operations and serves as primary liaison with the Office of the Chancellor, including all reporting functions requested by the Office of the Chancellor on behalf of the five colleges. Responsibility to coordinate capital and HEAPR project planning and prioritization, submission of capital project and HEAPR requests to the Office of the Chancellor and assist college CFFOs in facility organization, operation, and management.
Salary Range: $ 100,000+
Placement on salary schedule commensurate with education and experience. Full benefit package.
Masters degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field is preferred.
Five years of experience in financial management or business management, required, including experience in fiscal management in a higher education system. The expectation is for familiarity with standard business practices, generally accepted accounting principles, state and federal regulations, regulations relating to the MnSCU higher education system, financial aid, and the operation of auxiliary services.
Excellent communication and supervisory skills. Prefer: Audit experience, facility planning and management experience. Skill and experience in public accounting.

Computer Science (will teach Intro to Computers)
Reading (will teach Reading I and Reading II)
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in field or have a Master’s with 16 graduate semester credits in field, and have relevant work and/or teaching experience. Salary is dependent on educational background and experience.
